Shirogane had always been a light sleeper. It didn't help when your childhood friend was the kind of person that could either end up being known as a genius or a psychopath.

He did sleep his full eight hours though, whenever he was able (because a body functions best at eight hours, and no one was changing his opinion on that). It was probably because he hadn't been sleeping properly lately what with projects and what Ryuuko had dubbed as "troubles", that he's sluggish when he feels movement on the bed. There were only so many all-nighters you could pull until your body had decided that it had had enough.

He cracks open one eye and glares at the blurry...whatever it was...that was waking him up before he remembers why there is movement on his bed in the first place.

And then he just buries his head in the pillow and decides to ignore it.

If Fujiko had actiually been awake she would have complained about him ignoring a pretty girl like her.

As it was though, Fujiko was sleeping like a log. She doesn't move pointlessly though. At the moment she was groping blindly in Shirogane's direction. Her hand catches he sleeve for a moment and she holds onto it, mumbling in her sleep.

If this was anyone else, they'd probably have thought that motion was cute. Shirogane though, was more preoccupied over thinking why he had decided last night that it was a good idea for him to let her stay.

Oh, right.

He hadn't.

But it had been impossible to get rid of her, so he had lent her his clothes and told her to take his bed. He would take the couch.

He had no idea why they were now in the same bed.

It was because he loved her, obviously. (And because she teleported him back onto the bed after he insisted on staying on the couch.)

She mumbled sleepily again and, having confirmed that he was there, rolled over towards him.

He was too deep into his thoughts to notice until the hand on his sleeve turned into a woman against his side.

He tries to push her away via a hand on her head.

Her frown deepens at that but she still doesn't wake up.

Shirogane also doesn't manage to stop her from trying to get closer. Unless he does something drastic (like chewing off his arm) Fujiko will wrap around him like an octopus.

"Tch-"

He's still going to try prying her off, one hand not so gently pushing against her face, "Let go of me!"

The hand on her face only makes her tighten her grip unconsciously. She slung a leg over him in the process.

"Hey, you! Let. Go."

What kind of person did this?! In someone else's bed no less?!

Her, obviously.

She ducked under his hand and snuggled closer with a sigh.

There really was no winning against her. So he tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, leans down...

"WAKE UP!"

The shout managed to shock Fujiko into waking up. Though her immediate reaction was to tighten her grip more, now tangling her hands in his shirt because...what?

Oh, good. She was awake. Or at least close enough to being awake.

"I was on the couch last night. Why am I here?!"

"Mmm..." She glared at him blearily before closing her eyes and snuggling against him.

"How should I know? Maybe you were sleepwalking."

"I don't sleepwalk."

He's still attempting to push her away (but not with much success...)

"How would you know? You'd be asleep."

Don't be so cold to your girlfriend, Shirogane. (Or else she might just start restraining your arms.)

"I think either I or Ryuuko would have noticed if I had the habit of doing something like that. I have never sleepwalked for as long as I've lived. Now let go of me."

Also she is not even his semi-unofficial girlfriend right now, just so you know.

"No."

As if to prove to him how resolved she was to not let go, she buried her face in his neck.

"What is wrong with you?! Don't you understand the concept of personal space?"

And also don't go sticking your faces into people's necks. RUDE.

"I understand just fine." she huffed (yes, still right against his neck). "Fujiko just doesn't care." And as if to prove her point, she nuzzled his neck.

"Next time, I will not let you stay over."

Not if she was going to be like this in the morning.

"You're so cold." The threat doesn't do anything to deter her, however. As she (unrepentantly) chooses to stay right where she was.

"You haven't even given me a good morning kiss yet and you're already yelling at me."

"Because I wasn't supposed to be in this bed. It's cramped with two people."

"It's fine if we're really close."

"I don't want to be this close to you."
