Eagle opens the eyes he didn't remember closing when he feels Ryuuki pulling back. He doesn't need to be able to see to know that Ryuuki's probably smiling brightly. There's the unmistakable sound of a tail wagging happily, after all. He's really not sure what to say, so he stays where he is, blushing to the tips of his ears.

"It's all right if it's like that, right?"

Ryuuki is very proud of himself right now and it's pretty much written all over his face.

Eagle nods....then catches himself and looks to where he hopes Ryuuki's face is, "I...well...just...just don't do it if there are a lot of people around. Or in the day. I mean...it's kind of...embarrassing, so. I mean...it's not that I don't like it, because it was really nice, just..."

And now he was rambling.

His ears flattened, but he listened carefully anyway.

"...I never realized there were so many rules."

Now he feels bad...Eagle bites his lip and he's certain that his ears are red too....but he doesn't want Ryuuki to be unhappy.

"I...I guess it doesn't matter if you d-do it in the day. And as long as no one is actually looking...."

This actually makes what he said before entirely moot.

His ears perked back up.

"I see! Don't worry I'll make sure no one sees!"

But since Ryuuki is about as subtle as a brick in the face it's hard to say how successful he will be.

Since Eagle is about as bright as a brick, he believes him.

"....If it's like that then I guess it'll be okay."

And since Eagle now had Ryuuki's promise, it's like a big weight has been lifted off his shoulders and suddenly he feels very tired, "Hey...we should go to sleep. It's getting kind of late, right?"

"Okay!"

And with that, Ryuuki was reaching out for Eagle's hand and dragging him the couch.

"Eh?"

Eagle didn't even have the chance to protest before he was being dragged over to the couch because his house was small and the couch was really quite close.

"Wait! W-What are you doing?"

"Going to bed."

"Wait. What? B-But!"

Eagle's still following along though.

Ryuuki, respite what everyone thinks, is not stupid (most of the time). Sometime he just selectively doesn't listen. Like right now.

He stops in front of the couch. and lets go of Eagle.

"You sit down first."

Eagle isn't sure what Ryuuki is up to, but against his better judgement, he settles onto the couch.

Once Eagle's sat down, Ryuuki sits down as well. Then he curls up on his side so he can have his head pillowed on Eagle's lap.

He's such a genius. Right?

.....How is he supposed to sleep like this.

Eagle can feel the warmth of Ryuuki's head on his leg and he's never felt more traumatized awake.

He's not kicking him off though, just quietly sitting there and accepting his fate.

Ryuuki, on the other hand, shifts around a bit to find a comfortable spot. Once he does, his tail thumps on the couch a few times. He's clearly pleased with himself.

Eagle's lap pillow~.

Eagle doesn't quite trust himself to move, and he can't see Ryuuki in this darkness at all. But he can feel the warmth of Ryuuki's head on his leg, and he can hear the thump of his tail on the couch.

Well. As long as Ryuuki was happy.

Tentatively, he reaches out to brush his fingers over his head, ready to pull away at a moment's notice.

Ryuuki only turned his head into the touch. His tail never stops its motion, clearly pleased by the attention.

Eagle is so glad that it's dark and no one can see how red he's turning. Ryuuki's head is soft though and Eagle can't help liking the feeling of running his fingers over his head.

"Good night, Eagle!"

"Yeah..."

Thank goodness it's dark so no one can see him smile like an idiot, either.

"Uh, I mean. Good night."

And once he's made sure Ryuuki is asleep, he presses a quick kiss to the top of his head.
