Somewhere, Kou feels like he just missed the chance to get on Shirogane's case for having a "usual time".

"Of course."

"Then I'll make time for you."

That brought a bright smile to her face.

"I look forward to it!"

"...Is there anything else?"

[distantblue]

"No." Then she paused...then laughed. "Actually, there is one thing."

She laced her hands behind her back and smiled at him with her head canted a little to one side.

"Welcome back."

There is a slight softening in his eyes when he hears that, because missed it. He missed her.

His expression remains as steely as ever though, "I'm back."

That slight softening is enough to draw a bright smile from her and as she poles away she waves at him enthusiastically until she can't see him anymore.
