"Every girl needs something impractical that she feels pretty in, Aqua-san."

Or in Shiho's case: multiple somethings.

"...I wouldn't look very good those kinds of clothes, Shiho."

"Don't be ridiculous, Aqua-san."

And with that, Shiho stands up and abandons her lunch, "We're going right now."

"Right now?" But she stands anyway, though if no one tells her not to, she'll take her tray, dishes and uneaten food and bring it back.

Maybe even asking for a box.

"Of course! We need to get to Shibuya as soon as possible."

And that meant leaving. Now. No time for boxes.

But then they'll be wasting food...

"All right. Just let me bring this back first..."

Who cares?

Well, Shiho knows that Aqua probably does.

"We can't bring boxes around with us while shopping, Aqua-san."

"...I guess you're right." That would be a little strange and she couldn't ask her to go with her all the way back to the dormitory so she could put this in the fridge.

"I just feel bad about wasting food like this."

"Then we'll drop by someone's place and give it to them. I think there should be at least one person around here who hasn't eaten their lunch yet."

As long as it wasn't Sakaki. He could starve.

She looked down at her plate which was still untouched except for where she'd pushed part of the pasta around with her fork. "Could we leave it in one of the training rooms? Terra sometimes forgets to eat when he gets too into his training."

Except...she's not sure he wanted to see her right now.

"That's a great idea!"

And because she had an inkling of what had been going on with Eraqus's team, she smiles brightly, "We'll get someone to deliver it! Naomi-chan~"

She waves at the esper across the room.

She didn't want to admit it, but it was...a little bit of a relief to have someone else deliver it. She felt guilty for thinking it, and her hand immediately went to her limiter, making sure it was turned on properly.

Naomi (with a small curry stain on her uniform) walks over. "Good morning...ah." She laughed, "I guess it's nearly noon already."

Aqua smiled at her in response.

Shiho clasps her hands behind her back, all innocent sweetness, "We were just wondering...you wouldn't mind dropping by to see Terra-san later, would you?"

"...Terra-san?" That was not a blush on her cheeks. Definitely not!

Aqua noticed the blush but wasn't sure what to make of it, so she just shrugged it off.

"He's in the fifth training room, he probably hasn't eaten lunch yet so maybe you could bring some to him?"

Naomi jumps when she hears that, waving her hands rapidly in front of her face and looking off into the distance.

All Shiho can think is, 'Bingoooo.'

Aqua...wasn't sure what to make of that reaction for a second. Until she remembered that time, back when it had just been Terra and her, when they took Naomi out and Aqua had acted as look-out for Supervisor Tanizaki.

She brought a hand up to her ear to turn off her limiter. There was a moment when there was a far off look in her eyes. Aqua could not do the job of a Clairvoyant, but some people tended to think louder than others and it just so happened that Supervisor Tanizaki was one of those people.

She turned it back on.

"He's not here." She tilted her head, "But if it's too much trouble we can stop buy to deliver it..."

Naomi reddens, "No! Of course not! I'll deliver it. I'll definitely deliver it!"

And they don't get to say another word before she grabs Aqua's tray of eaten food and all but flies towards the front of the cafeteria, "Box!"

Shiho blinks, "Naomi-chan sure is excited."

"...maybe she has something she wanted to talk to him about."

Though Aqua didn't think that was quite right...

She shook her head and stood up.

"I guess we can go now."

"...Yeah. That must be it."

Shiho just shakes her head before taking Aqua's hand. "Let's go then~"

Her hand closed over Shiho's without hesitation. Being a telepath herself, Aqua has always been very conscious about not flinching when touching a psychometer.

Besides, this was Shiho. Aqua trusted her.

"Are we going to take the metro?"

"Of course~"

Shiho loved taking the trains. Especially to look for perverts.

Aqua, on the other hand, preferred not to meet anyone like that. (Though she's definitely run into a few before. It never ended well for the other party.)

"All right then."

The ride there ended up being fairly uneventful, without any meetings with perverts happening.

By the time Aqua was coming out of the underground at their destination she already felt more relaxed than she had...in a while, actually.

"So, where to first?"

Shiho is so disappointed that no perverts showed up. She would have loved to give a sordid account of their various wrongdoings to anyone around to listen. Oh well, there were always other train rides.

She smiles at Aqua, "Of course, we're going to a cute store I found! They have some dresses I know will look really cute on you."

Aqua's not exactly sure if she'd actually look cute in a dress, but she's willing to trust Shiho's taste.

She returns the smile and gestures with her hand, "Lead the way."

Shiho has great taste. With a little laugh, she links their arms and pulls Aqua along with her past the bright shops and boutiques.

"You're going to love it."

The store in question is small, with clean white walls and dark wood floors with clothes in a rainbow of colours, cute trinkets, delicate jewelry and pretty shoes.

Shiho zooms in on the white dress with the pale blue skirt that she had seen last time, glad that it was still there.
