Nuzzling was against the rules. Even if it was a thing birds did, it didn't stop being embarrassing.

"S-Sorry! Rong-erghhhh.................I'm sorry, I think I bit my tongue."

She couldn't help but smile and stick closer to him. Really, he was too cute. Well, she was smiling up until he bit his tongue, anyway.

"Are you all right? It's not bleeding, is it?"

Eagle takes a moment to collect his thoughts, with his hands covering his face. Okay, he's got this.

"I...I think I'm okay."

She looked relieved then she hit him lightly in the shoulder.

"Don't worry me like that."

Looking suitably chastised (and really kind of happy that she bothered to worry at all), he smiles at her, "I'm sorry."

"It's fine." She gave him another happy nuzzle, "Just try not to do it again, okay?"

She was trying to kill him. He was sure of it. But at the same time...it's impossible to say no to her, no matter what she did.

Not trusting himself to manage to say what he wants to say without biting his own tongue, he bites his lip and nods.

She would pout if she knew what he was thinking. She would never try to hurt you, silly Eagle.

"Good." Then she pulls away enough to grab his hand, "Are you busy?"

The correct answer is 'no' by the way.

"Eh? Oh. Um. I don't think so?"

Because despite wanting to have free time to spend with her, he was first and foremost a very honest person and it never even occured to him to say that he wasn't busy.

'I don't think so' is close enough to 'no' in her books.

"Then let's go on a date!"

"D-D-Date?!"

He was pretty sure that was what she had said, but then again he was open to the possibility that he was off dreaming weird things again.

"Yes, a date." Then she's taking your other hand as well and swinging her arms slightly, "So. Where are you taking me?"

"Uh."

WHERE IS HE TAKING HER. The forest? But what if it's boring?!

The flower field? But what if there's nothing growing there?!

There's a moment where he says nothing at all, his mind racing a mile a minute before he finally decides, "F-Fishing?"

Fishing is awesome, right? Everyone (hopefully) thinks so.
