Name: The Student Council President (Katsumi)
Canon: Daily Lives of Highschool Boys
Pairings: No preference!
Personality: Notorious for being an idiot who's inconsiderate of others' feelings. Despite that, he's charismatic (to the point of being dramatic) and friendly enough— he had to get elected somehow, all right!! Unexpectedly paternal but also the king of giving mixed signals.
What does your character find attractive in a person?: Pushovers are pretty great. Also those that strive to better themselves in some way.
Warning(s): ~~Politician~~ Kind of subtly bossy / manipulative, but that's most I can think of.
Other:

Eagle was supposed to just bring something in for Katsumi to sign. Just one single thing.

But by the time he opens the door (with some difficulty), he's carrying a myriad of forms and miscellaneous things others gave him to take along. "Um. I brought something for you to sign, President."

Oh, wow. Paperwork? Work? That's heinous. Eagle just happened to walk in on him playing a game on his phone (that was okay, right? He could be texting someone Important), of which he hurriedly slaps down on the table, sliding his feet off the desk too while he's at it. There's already some ignored paperwork there.

"Ah, you know.. You could have knocked..."

Despite the fact that Eagle's hands look pretty full...? Cue a mournful look.

Is he supposed to knock with his head??

But Eagle, being Eagle, apologizes. "I'll remember that for next time. Can I just...put it..........wasn't some of this supposed to be finished yesterday?"

In answer to the first part of the question, the President points to a corner of his desk. To the second he folds his arms across his chest (the action is not without a touch of defensiveness) and stands.

There's a short peal of laughter that could almost be nervous, though somehow ends up sounding genial and good-natured: "I did some! But that's how it is with work. You do it a little bit at a time so it doesn't overwhelm you, right?" See, it's not actually procrastination if you can think of it like that.

Except it really is, but this is the land of idiotic optimism.

"I guess...that you have a point."

You're lucky he likes you, President.

"There really is a lot of paperwork....maybe if we did it together we'd be done faster. What do you think?"

Meanwhile, he'll just set the new pile on the corner of the desk.

"Eh...? Would that make it more bearable, too?"

He's actually considering this! Although it's likely doing it 'together' means him slacking off while Eagle does... everything else. He does slide his phone into his pocket, at least.

"Or we could do something else—! It's been a really long day for us both, hasn't it?"

It's okay, Eagle is used to doing all the work. And failing spectacularly at it.

"But there's nothing else left to do but the paperwork, right?"

Unless...Eagle looks worriedly at the President, "Unless you have to go to cram school or you have to do cleaning?"

"No..."

Cram school, the thought of it makes his stomach turn. Cleaning is something mindless enough that he wouldn't mind doing, but there's something more Pressing on top of it all. He picks up the stack of papers again and tucks it under his arm.

Apparently someone's mind has been made up.

"I'm hungry."

Hungry. Really?

He sighs, "....Where are you going with the paperwork then, President?"

Eagle really doesn't want to accuse him of anything, but there are staples in some of those papers and you really, really don't want to accidentally ingest a staple.

Yep. Suddenly and conveniently hungry, imagine that. "Anywhere but here...! Wherever we eat." Yes, 'we' too. He snatches his bag from the floor, hurriedly cramming half the papers in it.

Annnnnd without missing a beat, the other half he shoves at Eagle's chest. The implications are clear enough to him.

"Eagle-chan's a great councilman, looking out for me like that." It would be a shittier statement if he didn't actually one-hundred percent agree with it.

Eagle's mind actually pauses for a moment when he hears the 'we'. And then it goes into full-on embarrassed mode when it's followed by a compliment.

Holding the papers tighter to his chest, he looks anywhere but directly in the President's direction, "It's nothing. I just want to be of use."

"You would prefer 'useful' to 'great councilman'? You shouldn't undermine yourself like that, really!"

Because that just happens to be one of the major ways someone is a great councilman to him, fancy that! Thus, the answer is that he's both. Slinging his bag over his shoulder, Katsumi gives Eagle a pat on the back before stepping to the door.

"I-I-If I'm useful, then I'll be able to s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-stay, right?"

He mumbles most of that into the papers though, so who knows how much of it was actually audible. (Eagle hopes that most of it wasn't audible.)

Embarrassing confession over, Eagle moves to follow the President, much like a faithful duckling would.

"Yeah! But you're staying because everyone else wants you to, too." Elections and all. Plus the President's power (legitimate or not) of tending to keep those around that happen to be... hardworking. There's a scheme here at play.

Though, he also really does like Eagle, so there's that too.

Door shut, he begins on his way through the school's hallways, pace remaining relatively brisk. "Ah, I think there's an ice cream place not far from here... How does that sound—?"

Scheme or not, the thought brings a smile to Eagle's face, as he holds the papers just a little bit more tightly heedless of any papercuts he may get in the process.

He matches his pace with the President's, staying slightly behind him as they make their way to wherever they're going, "That sounds wonderful."
