Shirogane had always been a light sleeper. It didn't help when your childhood friend was the kind of person that could either end up being known as a genius or a psychopath.
He did sleep his full eight hours though, whenever he was able (because a body functions best at eight hours, and no one was changing his opinion on that). It was probably because he hadn't been sleeping properly lately what with projects and what Ryuuko had dubbed as "troubles", that he's sluggish when he feels movement on the bed. There were only so many all-nighters you could pull until your body had decided that it had had enough.
He cracks open one eye and glares at the blurry...whatever it was...that was waking him up before he remembers why there is movement on his bed in the first place.
And then he just buries his head in the pillow and decides to ignore it.
