Crystal Caravan Meme~

"Long ago, there existed a great crystal. People lived in their lives blessed with its radiance. One day, a great star fell from the sky and shattered the crystal. Miasma spread across the world. That was the beginning of it all."

The Crystal Caravan Meme

In order to survive in a world covered by a poisonous miasma, people built their towns around giant crystals which can ward off the mist and keep people safe. In order to preserve the crystals' radiance, each town will send out crystal caravans every year to collect three drops of myrrh that will purify the crystals. Your journey will be dangerous with the only things standing between you and certain doom being your wits, your weapons and the crystal chalice which keeps out the miasma but not the monsters guarding the myrrh trees, and if you fail everyone who believed in you will die.

But hey, at least you're not in this alone.

How to,
1. Make a post with your character.
2. Someone else will tag your character and roll a number between 1 and 7 for a scenario.
3. ???
4. Profit?

1. Heading Out
Your journey begins today. Maybe you're a seasoned crystal caravan heading out for yet another journey or maybe you're new to all this and you're nervous as hell. Maybe you're seeing someone off on their journey or maybe you're both embarking on this journey together. Regardless, better check that you haven't forgotten anything.

2. Fighting
Monsters, monsters and more monsters. There's just no end to them! Are you fighting one of those giant monsters that are blocking your way to the myrrh tree? Or are you just fighting the small fry? Whatever it is, make sure you don't stray out of the chalice's protective circle and for goodness sake, don't hit your fellow caravanner by mistake! Unless you are, in fact, fighting with your travelling companion because you can't agree on something. In that case, just make sure not to do anything you might regret.

3. I don't want to carry the chalice anymore!
The crystal chalice is the only thing keeping the miasma away from you, but sometimes you just get sick of carrying the damn thing. Maybe you've been designated as chalice carrier for too long, or maybe you're fighting monsters and you want to stab something instead of carrying the chalice. Either way, there's only one question you want to ask: why can't you carry it for a while?

4. Homecoming Party
Well, it hadn't been easy but you've managed to collect three drops of myrrh and made it back to your hometown in one piece. Your town's crystal is good for another two years and you know what that means: it's party time!

5. trouble on the road
Monsters and miasma are your primary concerns, but they're not the only things that will get in your way. Maybe your papaopamus is ill and won't move. Or one of your wheels came off. Or you were wayliad by bandits. Or maybe you're lost. Or--this list can go on and on, really. If you're lucky another caravan might stumble across you in your moment of need and give you aid.

6. Camping Out At Night
The sun is setting/has set which means it's time to set up camp. Argue about who will cook dinner, or bask in that last dungeon you'd conquered and gotten a myrrh drop from...or maybe your chalice is still empty and you want to angst about that. Either way, it's time to settle down and rest for the night.

7. Wildcard
Your choice! Or roll again.

...Yes.

[She already couldn't remember who this blacksmith was, but she was more than willing to help speed the process of getting Huang Rong the accessory with some violence if necessary.

Her sword trails along the ground as he eyes drift to a flan that dodges behind a door, terrified.]

.......Yes.

[She hums a little before putting the bag away. Then she follows Oichi's gaze and, hm.]

I think we should go into that room next!
