Her heart skipped a beat when Shiho linked their arms. Right before they started to walk, Aqua caught a whiff of Shiho's perfume, something girlish and sweet, but not childish. Aqua couldn't place what the smell was but it fit Shiho and it was nice.
Aqua had grown used to the compliments (she had known the Children for some time now and the compliments Shiho paid her were endlessly less embarrassing than Kaoru's).
But she was so distracted by Shiho's scent that she almost missed what she said.
"Oh! I--" She smiled, "I'm sure you're right."
She recovered well enough on the way to their destination, at least.
