Eagle doesn't open his eyes because he doesn't want to ruin the moment, and it's more than enough that he can feel her hand in his, and that she's close enough that it feels like he's surrounded by the warm, sweet scent of fresh water.
If this was a dream (and even now he couldn't be sure that it wasn't) then he hoped that he'd never wake up.
He leans a little further forward so he can lean his cheek against hers, the hand not holding hers coming up to cup against the side of her face.
