He does pull away from the kiss eventually and maybe a bit reluctantly (although his hand stays where it is on her waist), breathing ragged and hair a mess. He doesn't pull away very far though, and his fingers are absentmindedly rubbing gentle circles against her skin as he weighs his options.

Technically...tomorrow was his day off. Just because he had never taken it, didn't mean that it wasn't his day off still. But he had never actually taken a day off before. And he wasn't sure if he could handle spending tomorrow with her as well.
