Getting into the space program hadn't been easy, but in the end, Tsubomi managed it. She had studied extensively to get to this point and the moment she was notified that she was chosen for the next mission she was so ecstatic she could barely form the words to tell her friends.

It had been so wonderful that she could hardly believe it was real.

Even now when she was staring out the window at the stars it was still a little hard to believe. Tsubomi smiled then turned back to the journal in her hand and continued writing today's entry.
