Re: Mizunashi Akari || ARIA

He remembered his very first day in Aqua. Not too fondly, actually. His business partner on Man-home had been planning it for weeks behind his back because apparently, working too hard was bad for you. It didn't sound like something that idiot Ryuuko could come up with his own though, and the moment he figured out the asshole that had planted that idea in his head, he would make them wish they had never been born.

But Ryuuko had insisted. And then Shisui had insisted (Shirogane had the suspicion it was that guy's idea). And finally Homurabi had taken one look at him and smirked which was the last straw. If they wanted him gone so badly, he would go!

Just remember to double check the accounts. And there's the new shipment coming in that has to be confirmed. The coffee-machine needs fixing. The printer is old and should be replaced.

He left for his trip trailing reminders (and even now he spent his morning firing off reminders to his staff), fully intending on sitting his month-long vacation out in the quiet of his room and working. Then he'd made the mistake of wandering out for groceries and bumped into that pink-haired, cheerful Akari who decided within the hour as she poled her gondola down the waterways with him as the passenger, that he was wasting his vacation and she had an Obligation.

Today though, was one of those rare days where she hadn't shown up immediately to drag him out. The book sat unforgotten in his lap as he stares out the window at the view of white buildings and blue waterways, where she was no doubt hurrying on her way.

Maybe this place was rubbing off on him.
